Sightseeing
When you go sightseeing along Las Vegas Boulevard, starting from the north may be the best option. While it starts slow (you begin at the industrial complexes), you will eventually hit downtown Las Vegas where you find the bright neon lights of the old-style casinos and strip clubs. You may or may not want to actually go in, but the facades of the building are nevertheless beautiful and iconic enough to guarantee great photographs of your trip (it's best to do your sightseeing at night, when all the lights are on). The famous strip clubs also happen to be in this area, as are the vintage hotels and the best of the best stage shows that you may want to see. Also around this area are museums showcasing the city's rise to the top, the State Historic Park and the Fremont Street Experience.
Travel further down south, and you find the strip, where much of the tourism and sightseeing now happens thanks to the extremely glamorous and convenient casino resorts as well as the family-friendly amusement park-type attractions that have popped up there. In fact, there are several mini theme parks that you may want to visit even if you don't have children there. Some of the roller coaster rides are truly blood-pumping and in terms of sight-seeing you can take some really classy shots of featured attractions.
In this section of the site, we will be posting a map indicating all of the best sightseeing attractions that you can find in Las Vegas Boulevard. We will also be posting schedules of shows that you may want to watch at the Las Vegas Boulevard. Please check back often for updates.
